š§µ Crafting the K-9 Uniform
To transform this sweet pup into a distinguished service officer, we designed a multi-piece accessory set tailored specifically to his proportions:
Contoured K-9 Vest:Ā Crafted in deep navy worsted yarn with a clean black single-crochet border. The chest panel was custom-fitted with notched armholes to ensure a flat, natural lay against his fur without bunching under his arms.
Low-Stretch Snap Straps:Ā Built using specialized stitch tension to prevent rolling, finished with hidden snap closures for a secure, low-profile fit around his neck and belly.
Structured Police Cap:Ā Features a navy crown bordered by raised black piping trim, a sleek black lower band, and a custom front-loop-hinged visor that sits horizontally over his eyes rather than drooping.
Handcrafted Star Badges:Ā Detailed with a 5-point yellow star badge centered on his vest back panel and a micro-star badge mounted right on his cap band.

Now that our very first custom K-9 officer is officially on duty and looking sharp on his display stand, we are ready to dive right into our next first responder project!
